LEARNING

One of the principles of the Foundation is to cooperate with maritime schools and maritime institutes to achieve practice placements on board seagoing sailing ships.

The Foundation “United Dutch Sailing Company”

was established to support the rich history of Dutch sailing ships and bring the fame of the Dutch unique knowledge and professionalism of today's sailing fleet to the public.

With a nod to our proud heritage as a sailing trading nation.

Every year thousands of foreign tourists travels to the Netherlands to sail arround our country with its unique and many rivers, lakes and the Wadden Sea. The small and large Dutch sailing ships

are made for shallow waters, but as well as ever we continue sailing our Tall Ships worldwide. Dutch Sailing Holidays provide the perfect way to join a real historic experience in Holland.

Almost without emitting CO2, using wind power optimally, and in unity and with respect for the elements. In our country offers the view from a Dutch historic vessel surprising perspectives.
