In February this year the Foundation VHZC - Verenigde Hollandse Zeil Compagnie (= United Dutch Sailing Compangnie) launched a new and much needed initiative for the promotion of the professional Dutch sailing fleet.It is bringing all and more than 400 sailing vessels on one page at www.vhzc.nl
Long time was the idea of an accessible, convenient site on which to develop utmost professional sailing ships to be picked for crew and (future) enjoying sailors. This way you can get a good impression of the large Dutch professional sailing barges in Holland and worldwide.
It makes searching easier. Besides all the ships with their photos on a page, the available information is also sorted by name, port, region, number of beds, daytrips and trainees.
By using this site, visitors can go directly to the desired page of the barge, cooperation booking agency or organization, this links all according to the wishes of the owner / skipper.
VHZC is also planning to launch a number of projects including ensuring that the same information widely accessible and clearly written may be offered (eg again in the former VHZC Scheeps Journal) and maritime exhibits at fairs and events.Are you interested in the progress: please regularly visit the website www.vhzc.nl or better yet, subscribe to the e-journal of VHZC.
The activities can be achieved through donations and welcome to account 26 40 25 of the Foundation VHZC - Overveen, Netherlands.
Each contribution is helping the Foundation and hence for the entire Dutch professional sailing fleet in the future.
